Upendo Laboratories was founded by Dr. Oetker Welt, Dr. Christian Wietholt , and Mr. Roy Hsu in 1995. Upendo Laboratories emphasized on nature and organic way to bring people health and beauty, developing neutral products which do not contain harmful chemicals and preservative. Throughout its history, it has developed hundreds of products and sold millions of units. The Company's strong research and development background has made it a well-known industry leader.

In 1997, the company invested in a organic skin care product line specially designed for mum and baby named OrganicLove, now OrganicLove has becoming a major part of its business focus and culture.

In 2000, the Company merged with Dr. Alimento, a company specialized in cutting edge ingredients and Nutraceuticals products development.

In 2002, the Company aliened with Sage pharmaceutical, initiated an aggressive research and development program on transdermal delivery system, the delivery system is much more efficient and less costly than traditional liposomes. Upendolabs has successfully applied the technology in its skincare products. The Company also extends its research on time-release drug formulations to extend the drug absorption and efficiency.

In 2006, we established an cGMP cosmetics manufacturer facility in Hangzhou, China to fillfull the increasing demand of our products , and join ventured with one of the large companies in Maternity & Baby Industry to expand our market. Currently, we have 9 subsidiaries in Beijing/ Shanghai / Zhengzhou / Chengdu / Changchun / Wuhan / Shenyang / Nanjing / Suzhou and 30 offices in the second tier provinces.

Up to days, we havesuccessfully developed three brands (organicLove skin care, Dr. beauty skin care, and Dr. Alimento nutrition supplement) and marketed in the US, China, Taiwan, Australia, Hong kong and Korea with sales network for over 15 thousand drug stores and beauty shops.
